konica minolta copiersOne of the questions we get asked a lot is whether or not we deal with Konica Minolta copiers. The answer to that is yes we do, to a certain extent. We used to be a dealer of Konica Minolta copiers, so we have trained service personnel on staff. The fact that we don’t sell or lease new machines doesn’t say anything bad about Konica’s new products, we simply decided to narrow our focus on a couple of specific brands only — namely Sharp and Kyocera.

When it comes to Konica Minolta copiers, we are still in the business of servicing them. If you are on a lease with us from when we used to sell and lease new Konica  machines, we will of course still service your copier if needed. If you own a Konica Minolta machine that is not affiliated with us in any way, meaning it was bought or leased from another dealer, we may be able to service it on a time and materials basis or even offer a contract.

When buying or leasing a new or used machine from us you have the option to sign up for one of our service contracts, which covers everything you need for a low monthly price. Unfortunately we cannot offer All Inclusive  Service Contracts on machines that are not affiliated with us because we do not know the history of the machine. However, that certainly doesn’t mean we will turn you away if you have a Konica Minolta machine that needs servicing.

Servicing Konica Minolta copiers on a time and materials basis means we charge an hourly rate for the service, and you as the customer pays for any of the parts needed in the process. We also offer some options for Service Contracts on Konica Units. Our service team is factory trained and certified by Konica Minolta, so we are more than capable of getting your machine back up and running. Since our team specializes in servicing Konica Minolta machines, we can offer a level of service that others can’t. Most importantly, we can save you money versus getting your machine serviced by another dealer.

Save Money by Getting Konica Minolta Copiers Serviced at Dean Office Solutions

How can we save you money on servicing Konica Minolta machines? It all comes down to a proprietary part used used by the company. Konica Minolta color machines use something called an imaging unit, which is typically the cause of the machine needing to be serviced. Imaging units can only be acquired directly from the company and they’re very expensive to replace. The average cost of a new imaging unit is $500 or more. With our team being trained by Konica Minolta, we are capable of reconditioning imaging units — and that can save you a considerable amount of money.

Many dealers are only capable of replacing imaging units. That means you’ll have to pay for the cost of the new imaging unit, which will likely be marked up by the dealer. On top of that you’ll have to pay for the time spent replacing the unit. At Dean Office Solutions we’ll repair your imaging unit, so you won’t have to pay for a new one. We can recondition a Konica Minolta imaging unit for a little over 100 dollars. In the end you’ll end up spending much less than the cost of getting an imaging unit replaced. In very rare cases they cannot be repaired, depending on the damage, but in most cases they can.

Conclusion

We sell and lease a limited amount of used Konica Minolta copiers, but for the most part we are in the business of servicing them. Our factory trained team can repair versus replace imaging units, which will save you hundreds of dollars compared to other dealers.
