used copierOne of the greatest misconceptions customers have when shopping for a used copier is that they are not as good as new models, or that there’s something wrong with them. That’s absolutely not true. The truth is that sometimes the needs of a business change, and the copier they were previously using no longer suits their needs.

To put it in perspective, here’s a story about a used copier that I recently leased to a customer. A business leased a Konica Minolta color copier from another leasing company, and a year and a half into the lease their business closed up shop. So I purchased that copier from the leasing company and leased it to one of my customers.

Even though that would technically be considered a used copier, it had only seen about 18 months of use and had not a single thing wrong with it. It was in tremendous shape and still had several years of heavy use left in it.

That’s how I acquire a lot of the used copiers I lease in my store, so you can rest assured that when you’re leasing a used copier you’re getting a lightly used machine that will serve your needs for years to come.

Why Lease A Used Copier?

Now that I’ve cleared up some misconceptions about leasing a used copier, let’s discuss some of the benefits. Why would you want to lease a used machine over a new one? Well let me tell you.

First of all, I have to be honest and say that a used copier is not for everyone. If you’re a high volume user who does a tremendous amount of color copying every day, then you’re probably better off getting a new model.

A used copier can be leased like new, which means we can offer you the equipment plus service and supplies all for one low price. You can expect the price of our used copiers to be roughly half of what a new one would cost. However, if you’re a low volume user who only cranks out less than 1000 color/black copier per month then a used machine would be perfect for your needs.

When you go for a used copier you almost always get better equipment than what you can afford new. With the price points of used machines, you’ll be able to get one of the larger models that will actually save your business money in the long run.

Did you know that the larger a copier is the cheaper it is to run? That’s right, color copies out of a large copier only cost around 6-9 cents, and black copies are only a penny. By comparison, color copies will cost around 25 cents each on a smaller copier, and black copies around 4-5 cents.

Take advantage of the ability to make copies inexpensively, and get a good deal on a top of the line used copier.  Please take a look at our full selection to see how we can accommodate your needs.
